The TFO Deep Eddy Casting Rod is a versatile nearshore rod designed for demanding saltwater applications where strength, sensitivity, and control are equally important. Its Toray intermediate-modulus carbon fiber blank provides the backbone needed to cast plugs, work jigs, drift live bait, and fish bottom structure while maintaining a responsive feel. X Wrap reinforcement helps reduce torsional twisting throughout the blank under load, providing greater stability during hooksets and hard runs from striped bass, blackfish, fluke, and other powerful inshore and nearshore species.

Saltwater-ready components complement the one-piece blank, including a Seaguide Alien reel seat for a secure reel connection and Seaguide Marine Grade 316 stainless steel guides for corrosion resistance. Custom contoured EVA grips provide comfortable, dependable handling in wet or dry conditions, while a Delrin gimbal adds secure support at the rod butt during demanding fights.
