Monofilament - Monofilament, otherwise known as the line before Braided Line. While many question what the purpose of mono is these days it still has plenty of purpose. While Braid is great for so many applications the lack of stretch, lack of “stiffness”, abrasion resistance, and of course price can all be obstacles.
